Becker is better

Pretty great. I definably feel this helped me prepare for the FAR. One thing that I would really like fixed is the Skillmaster videos. There is a broad range of volume and Audio issues with the videos. Some of them are so quite you can barely here them even with the volume all the way up. Then you go to the video and you have to hit the mute button real fast because it is so loud. Also one the instructors (Mario Perez) sounds like he is clipping and distorted in every video. I am not sure if the mic he is using is broken or what but it is really hard to listen to his videos because this this.

Overall Becker includes everything a candidate needs to pass the exam. However I would like to see improvements in the mobile app. Having to download sections individually for on the go studying is inconvenient and takes too long. My suggestion would be to improve the mobile interface to something that provides questions that are easy to do on the go but still allows for learning. With that said, I truly think studying is up to each individual candidate and until one finds their optimal method they will not pass no matter what brand of material they are using. (I learned that the hard way) Becker is a great resource and I like the lectures as they are entertaining and informative.

The most full and thorough resource to study for CPA. The study materials, lectures, problem solutions and video problem solutions all together helped me a lot in getting ready for my CPA exams.

Don't waste your money and don't be fooled by the 94% passing rate. Even if you go through all the material and get extended time on the exam (accommodations), you still don't get the "becker bump." Went through 95% of my lectures, mcq's, and sims and still failed the FAR with a 70%. So much for a guarantee passing rate! Thanks Becker for a wasting 4 months of my life studying your useless material!

I purchased the CPA Pro review course on January 28, 2022, and the same day I ordered a textbook for FAR. Today is February 15, 20222 and I still do not have the textbook. The customer service is horrible. I sent many emails with no satisfactory answer. In the end no answer at all. Very disappointed!! Presently I am considering to ask for a refund and to go with somebody else.

The organization of content and its delivery have proven that Becker is probably the best CPA program in the market. Progressing through content how Becker presents it allows users to constantly build off of previously established skills. By the end of relearning and the efficiently structured final reviews, you will feel confident about your exam. Don’t stress about hitting their Exam-Day-Ready benchmarks. Just get through the content because the CPA exam doesn’t focus on mastery, mostly breadth.

Overall ok study tool. Unfortunately, it is not the easiest material to follow because it assumes we have a basic knowledge of the topic. I find myself often viewing other videos on how to understand a specific topic better. A big dislike is when answering questions in a module and a question I do not understand appears, and the resulting explanation helps in no way; also, when looking at the respective video that “explains” the topic it is very hit or miss if it does explain, if it at all. This is unbelievably frustrating. To sum it up, Becker is great for people who have a good understanding of a certain topic, but is not good for those who do not.
