Becker helped me pass my first exam (FAR) on the first attempt. The lectures are engaging and I especially found the SkillMaster videos to be extremely helpful.

Excelent resources however, I think lectures could improve for material to be explained and not just highlighted. SkillMaster Videos are great.

You have great multiple choice questions and sims, but your lectures are absolutely awful. Tim needs to be fired, I ended up buying another program and using their lectures because your lectures were so poor

Becker is the best! I have been out of college for 10 years and finally decided to get serious and pass the CPA exam. I have wife, a 5 year old, a 2 year old and a full time job in at a CPA firm. Becker was still able to get me through the exam and pass all 4 parts on my first attempt. The software is awesome and very user friendly. The lectures, MC's and TBS will prepare you if you put in the time. The Final Review was also very helpful. I believe they do a great job of hitting on the high points in a fast paced manner. I can't think Pete, Mike B, Mike P, and Tim enough for the work that they do in putting together the material in a way that you can easily remember it. If you are debating on what review material you should purchase, Pick Becker!

The actual material that Becker provides is great (MCQs/Sims/etc). The only reason for the two star rating is the customer/academic support and the lecturers. Starting with customer/academic support. I've contacted them multiple times and frequently get rude responses back. I have to ask the same question to Academic support 2 or 3 times to get anything resembling an answer and they like to tell me to get a tutor (like I'm going to pay Becker even MORE money for someone I know won't be helpful). Most lecturers are fine. Mike Brown and Peter Olinto do a pretty good job of covering the material quickly and breaking down the important parts but Gearty is the absolute worse. It honestly blows my mind that he still has a job there when every single person I've talked to dislikes him. He talks so slowly that 2x speed sounds like Olinto at 1.5x. Plus all he does is tell you to underline stuff and skip paragraphs. He's a waste of time and needs to be replaced.

Was unable to access a live review class in 2022. The representative was able to quickly assist in giving me access so I could secure my seat!

Lectures focus on what is important. I like the way the books are summarized, which makes the information easier to digest.
