Care.com Canada has the worst customer service out of all the caregiver websites I have dealt with. Unbelievable. There are many other options out there. I highly suggest you do not use Care.com

Care.com has very poor customer service. I've been both a client and a caregiver and on both ends, one cannot expect to be treated with dignity or respect from this company, at all levels, should any problem or concern arise. Who needs that?

Beware of Care.com subscriptions! Care.com has a lot of features that enroll you in subscription plans and then won't credit back months of incurred fees despite you NEVER USING their service They obviously don't care about negative reviews as I shared that they didn't need any more one star reviews and they replied, "We greatly appreciate this, and are always working to make sure our members are having the best experience possible with the site. I do apologize for the frustration and disappointment you have faced. We created this feature based on feedback from members just like you, and I will make sure to pass your experience and suggestions on to our Product Management team for review." Somehow I seriously doubt they created a policy of not crediting back unused subscriptions "based on feedback from members just like me." Seriously, why would anyone ask to have their credit card billed for several months despite them not using your service? This is obviously part of their revenue model. How hard would it be for an executive at Care.com to run a report asking, "How many customers are paying us but not using our service?" Sept 7th Update: Care.com responded to this posting with a template response citing that they appreciate my feedback and my concerns will be sent to the correct department. Previously they were directing this to the Product Department but apparently they're not sure if that is correct anymore. I recommend the executive department.

Care.com har snydt mig for penge! Jeg har i dag købt et abonnement til 70 kr. da jeg læste på hjemmesiden, at man skal betale for at kunne skrive til andre vedr. job. Jeg kunne se at min penge var trukket inde på banken, men jeg kunne stadig ikke skrive til andre på siden. Mega fusk! Hold jer langt væk fra denne skodside

Si vous êtes prof, ne perdez pas de temps avec care.com. Ce site est une pure arnaque. 1) On vous envoie des " demandes " d'élèves (vraies ou fausses ?) pour des cours particuliers. Vous posez à chaque fois votre candidature et rien ne se passe. 2) Vous comprenez qu'il faut payer pour devenir " premium ". Les demandes d'élèves (vraies ou fausses ?) sont moins nombreuses, sauf vers la fin de votre abonnement où par miracle elles affluent. Mais vous avez beau postulé, rien ne se passe. 3) Ce site est malhonnête à tout point de vue : ne serait-ce que par le tarif horaire moyen pour du soutien scolaire qu'il annonce : 8,80 €. Donc, évitez de perdre de l'argent et du temps avec ces parasites.

Can't find any decent candidates for childcare. I ended up stupidly paying a whole year for membership and have not found anything in the last 6 months wrt candidates. My ad has been active for quite a while. Make sure you check and see if there are valid candidates who have recently logged in. If you don't see much, move on and save your membership money and go elsewhere
