Lack of Transparency, Functionality, and Ability to Tell the Truth
This company now calls itself "Kit." This platform has more than a few issues. It doesn't have the basic functionality that other platforms such as Constant Contact and Mailchimp have had for YEARS such as directly testing links in preview. And last year, they raised their prices 50% without telling customers that email campaigns sent from their platform would not render in Outlook - affecting reach to the 1.2 MILLION companies that use Outlook. I confirmed this with Microsoft. When you reach out to Convert Kit/Kit support them, they spend an ridiculous amount of time skirting around whatever the real issue is, often to cover for the fact they have no idea how to fix their functionality issues. It appears their focus has been on marketing and courting the so-called influencers" and building a creator network that is supposed to increase engagement, but does absolutely nothing. Paying these "influencers" is probably why the price hike was done. Avoid Convert/Kit if you don't want the heartburn of having to re-platform when you find out the hard way how bad it really is.
