Very frustrating experience with Destify. Their resort rates have consistently been much higher than the resort’s direct website, even though they advertise price matching. The price-match process also seems inconsistent depending on who you speak with. Several of my wedding guests have questioned why they should book through Destify when they can find the exact same rooms directly through the resort for significantly less. It has put me in the uncomfortable position of constantly having to explain and defend the pricing to my guests. For a service that is supposed to make destination wedding travel easier, this process has created more confusion and frustration for both me and my guests.

After researching the price match requests associated with this matter, we found that each request reviewed was approved, including some requests that were outside of our normal price match policies. Our goal is always to review each situation carefully and help guests receive the best available option whenever possible. Rates can vary depending on availability, booking terms, and the specific details included with a reservation, which can sometimes make comparisons between different booking options confusing. We recognize that this can create additional questions for both wedding couples and their guests, and we appreciate the feedback regarding how the process was experienced. We welcome the opportunity to review any specific pricing concerns that may still be outstanding. Price match requests, including screenshots of the rate being referenced, can be submitted to [email protected] for review. I was a little hesitant to book through Destify for a friend's wedding, but the care and support the Team has provided, put my heart at ease in knowing our reservation or needs will be taking care of. Shannon and Christian found me a great offer on a price match and that is a heap of help in itself! Thank you Destify for being so awesome!

I submitted an inquiry with Destify and received an email request to schedule a call. I scheduled the call for a week out and received a confirmation email. I left work early to take the call, it never came. I tried to get in touch with Destify through email, online request and submitting an additional inquiry and received an initial response asking who my call was scheduled with and when, which seemed really unprofessional to begin with that they didn’t have a record of my appointment. I responded providing the information and what I was looking for in a wedding, and I’ve received no response. I’ve also received no response to the additional inquiry I made. I was really excited to work with Destify based on online reviews, but the lack of communication over a service where I would be trusting them to plan one of the most important life events I’ll ever have is pretty staggering. I’ve since contacted other companies offering the same services and the difference in experience is huge. I would not trust this company to plan my wedding.

Lily at Destify was absolutely incredible to work with while planning our destination wedding! From the very first conversation, she was patient, organized, and genuinely invested in getting every detail right. We had a lot of moving pieces to coordinate dates, guest counts, resort options and Lily made the entire process feel easy instead of overwhelming. She was quick to respond, always had answers ready, and made sure we understood all our options before making decisions. Thanks to her, we booked our wedding in Punta Cana with total confidence, and I can't recommend her enough to anyone planning a destination wedding.
