We visited the Naples location for our annual family trip with 3 girls, ages 7, 8, and 11. This place is amazing! So many things for the kids to do; no matter their age. The indoor water park is incredible! The "family raft" ride is a blast! Staff and customer service were beyond amazing! I think that was what impressed me the most. Many of the staff are younger, and they were always friendly and helpful. I do think that the bed configurations in the rooms are a bit odd. I did not like sharing a bedroom with my daughter and son-in-law. Food choices during the day (11am to 5pm) were limited to ordering online or from the kiosk. Food was good, but I was surprised there were no hot dogs on the menu, especially with so many kids! Pay attention when deciding to purchase a "wolf pass" that offers unlimited activities. Do the math, especially if you're only there for a day or two. We did the al a carte option for bowling and mini-gulf and purchased the family pack, which included 6 people, and was cheaper than buying six individual passes. Overall, this is an amazing place for families! Highly recommend. Look out for special offers and/or coupons!

Terrible check-in. Had to wait nearly two hours. First time visiting, no direction on anything except direct you to check in on a kiosk which is a great thing but only to realize you have to still go to desk to get your add on bracelet/badge so you can receive your items in the add on!!! Which is always a long wait! Let me say no matter how much you think it will cost, the hidden fees are terrible! I suggest staying elsewhere and taking advantage of water park only. The morale of the staff is low, and they don’t want to be there. There were a couple that were friendly and helpful but not many. The overall concept of the wolf lodge is a great concept but I feel management places more thought on the making money than their actual guests! Wished I read the reviews before I booked. Parking fee is $20 a night like you have a choice! Food is very expensive and not impressed with it. Very disappointing!

I want to personally recognize Elena Nuzzo, Manager of Guest Services at Great Wolf Lodge for delivering one of the most exceptional customer service experiences I have ever received. In a time when genuine hospitality can be difficult to find, Elena stood out in every possible way. From the very first interaction, she demonstrated professionalism, leadership, patience, and an incredible ability to make guests feel valued and taken care of. She handled everything with confidence and efficiency while still maintaining a warm and welcoming attitude that immediately put us at ease. No matter how busy things were, Elena remained calm, attentive, and solution-oriented, going far beyond what would normally be expected from guest services. What impressed me most was her ability to turn a normal visit into a truly memorable experience. She didn’t just “do her job” — she took ownership, anticipated needs before we even had to ask, and made sure every concern was fully resolved with care and urgency. Employees with this level of dedication, emotional intelligence, and leadership are extremely rare. It is clear that Elena is not only an asset to Great Wolf Lodge, but someone who sets the standard for what outstanding hospitality leadership should look like. Based on this experience alone, I genuinely believe she deserves recognition and advancement within the company. People like Elena are the reason customers return, recommend businesses to others, and remain loyal long-term. Not worth the money!! We will not be going back. The room was over $300 and it included water park passes - but that’s it. Everything else is extra and very expensive - especially the food. The room we had was very outdated and small with a super tiny bathroom with no sink or mirror or fan! I got claustrophobic and couldn’t use the shower in that small space. It was just way too cramped. The bunkbeds were stuffed into a closet space and the mattresses on the bunk bed and queen bed were very uncomfortable. Some of the lights in our room did not work and the dresser drawers were stuck shut. Paid a $100 “incidental fee” and was told it’s just a hold and that I will get it back in a few business days. But other reviewers say they have had issues with getting it back. Also - they have they a large, private parking lot - but then charge a $20 parking fee? And no valet or anyone to help you with your bags and you don’t get an assigned parking spot. You have to pull up to the door - leave your car running - go inside to get your parking pass, then come back out - put the pass in your car and THEN you can park.m People were dragging their bags across the parking lot after they found a parking spot. The parking here is a joke - and least 100 cars at $20 each. That’s just a cash grab. Also - the hotel does not have a separate entrance. So you gave to sit in the middle of the arcade waiting to use the elevator to go to your room. And there’s kids in wet bathing suits running around everywhere you look. They should eliminate the parking fee and make it easier to enter the hotel by having its own entrance. Overall this was a very expensive and very disappointing experience.

The staff was pretty great. We had lost something while there and two managers went above and beyond to help us out and make sure we were taken care of. And of course the kids love it there. Reminds me of a casino but all for kids 😀

I am heartbroken writing this review, but this has been the worst business experience I’ve ever encountered. I purchased a season pass for my children at this water park in Maryland. At first, everything seemed smooth. I called for clarification and was told that the pass could be used on weekdays only. I specifically explained that I needed to take my children on Thursday, March 30, during their spring break, and I was told that would be fine. Unfortunately, my son became sick on March 30, and we were unable to make the trip that day. I called to notify the park and explained that I wanted to bring my children before the end of their spring break. On Saturday, I called again and informed them that my wife would be taking the children instead of me. I was instructed to complete a credit card authorization form and list my wife as a guest, which I did as directed. Despite following every instruction given to me, my children were denied entry when they arrived at the park. This resulted in my family driving 2 hours and 20 minutes from Waldorf, MD, to Perryville, MD, only to be turned away. This experience was extremely upsetting, unprofessional, and unfair—especially to my children. Clear communication was not honored, and no effort was made to accommodate a situation that was caused by illness and followed up on responsibly. I do not recommend this business based on how they handled this situation.

Traverse City. This place isn't so Great...the main pool was cold and I know it's suppose to be really warm. The lazy river water was way warmer than the main pool, so I know there was a problem. Then we went to the ice cream shop and there was a hair in my ice cream. And to top it off, my daughter had a soft serve cone and got food poisioning. We weren't charged for any of it but it was still awful. We weren't able to enjoy the 2 days we were there and the management didn't offer us a discount for the time wasted. I thought the place was dirty and gross. I never saw an employee walking around swiping down tables, elevator buttons or anything that is touched a hundred times by everyone. Overall, the place was flithy and disgusting. We will never stay here again.
