AIDA has been such a great program and I feel it was a huge reason I received a job offer in the ID field. Jill does a great job at giving you the hands on skills you need to build a portfolio, and she has a full team of support to guide you, answer your questions and troubleshoot problems along the way. Everyone in the program is awesome and cheers you on and keeps you motivated. The coaching calls were such a huge help and I really like the idea of the pods. My pod group has been such a huge support team for me. Earning badges has been such a great motivator. This program is worth every penny!

As an educator 20 years, I didn't know how to be anything other than a teacher but in my heart I knew I had so many applicable skills to offer. As a dabbled with instructional design on my own, I found my spark but didn't know how to move forward. AIDA gave me the confidence, support and motivation to invest in myself. Every single person that is part of the AIDA community, including mentors and members, has contributed to my success through continuous support. You never feel alone in your instructional design journey because there is always someone to reach out to for ID support or just for a pep talk. I can proudly say now, " I am an instructional designer."

I joined AIDA to learn the skills I needed to break in to a new career field. It more than met my expectations! I was supported along the way by a great team of mentors and I had access to the various tools and software that are used on the job. It was a great experience and I landed a full time position in just 7 months.

This program has been worth every penny for me. Each step is clearly mapped out and easy to follow. Someone is always available to answer a question or provide feedback. I'm proud to have learned a new skillset, and I'm excited to start my new role as a Virtual Learning Developer. If you have doubts, weigh the pros and cons. Carefully budget your time. If you decide to do it, dive in and don't look back. Follow each step, put in the effort, and listen to feedback. In the end you will be successful.

I joined AIDA in September of 2021, and I was hired as a full-time instructional designer in January 2022. That wouldn't have happened if I hadn't taken this course. I not only learned the skills I needed to do the job (Articulate 360, storyboarding, and Camtasia), but I was also guided through the resume and interview process, which allowed me to transition from teaching to the corporate world. Awesome mentors, coaching calls, lessons, and the AIDA community--You couldn't find a better group of people. I'm thankful for the experience, and now I get to work remotely, have less stress, and make more money.

AIDA is the reason I am working and enjoying my instructional design job in the corporate sector today. The mentorship and guidance are excellent. It was like on-the-job hands-on training. I gained a fast-track exposure to all the tools necessary to succeed in this field and step-by-step guidance to build my portfolio. These were instrumental in my success during the job interview and selection. Jill, Heather, Caroline, Elaine, and Lacey are just a few of the many AIDA mentors who helped me structure my instructional design path.

This program is the only thing you need to transition from teaching to ID. I began the program at the end of January and by early June, I had a full-time job with a company to be their ID. I was super skeptical and worried it wouldn't be that helpful, but I attended the 5 day workshop and knew it was the right fit. The boost in salary paid for the cost of the program 3x, so it was well worth it. Not everyone finds as much success as I did, but if you're dedicated and put in the time to work through the program at a consistent pace, it absolutely works. The best part? I'm still in the program, and even though I've completed all the required course work, there are still dozens of hours of video I could watch to continue to grow and learn. Plus, I still have the support system as I start my new job in case I have any questions that I'm not sure how to ask at work.

What an unreal experience. I was so sceptical at first but my desire to get out of the classroom was so great I had to have a vehicle to help. This may be the best decision I ever made for myself. Not only did I complete the academy in 3.5 months I landed my instructions design role less than a month after finishing. I will forever be grateful for this opportunity with a group of individuals that have your best interest in mind at all times.
