AIDA is an amazing program for anyone interested in transitioning into the ID field. During my time in the program I learned SO much about the instructional design process and was able to get direct experience with many ID tools to help build my skills and portfolio. The mentors in the program are amazing and always willing to help when needed. They also do a great job preparing you for the job search process. I started the program in January of 2022 (at 28 weeks pregnant!) and had accepted a job by May of 2022. You have to go into it being willing to put in the time and effort and be open to feedback...but it will all be worth it.

I cannot say enough good things about AIDA. Before I joined the program, I was frustrated in my career and felt stuck and unqualified to make a career change. Though the mass amounts of learning, upskilling, and practical applications AIDA offers, I am about to start a dream job. I am confident in my skills and ability to keep growing. My life and my family's lives are changed forever because of the doors AIDA has opened for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I would recommend AIDA to anyone who is wanting to learn, work hard, and make a positive change in your career.

This is a comprehensive ID program for anyone looking to start a career in ID. This program provides you with the technical skills to be successful in the ID field (Rise 360, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, ect.). More than that you are provided with feedback from industry professionals (mentors) who currently work in the field. The support from mentors, advisors and cohort members is amazing!! I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to transition to a career in instructional design.

I was skeptical at first, but after being a teacher for seven years, I had to leap to move forward with my career. Jill's program not only prepares you to become an ID by giving all the correct information, tools (Articulate 360, Camtasia, Vyond), and the short straight path, but also a great network of current and future IDs, experienced mentors, and unlimited resources. AIDA has all you need to become a successful ID. After completing this program, I felt confident during my interview and later in the work field as an ID & eLearning Developer. Although the program seemed very expensive at first, after completing the program, I got a job that tripled my pay, and it was all worth it. AIDA members support you even after you complete the program with all the questions you might have when you are already working. The resources, Jill's and mentor's knowledge and expertise, and network is proceless.

I was looking for work as an intstructional designer for 2 years after receiving my master's. The portfolio assistance I received here made all the difference. Almost immediately I was getting offers and it wasn't even complete yet!

I can not say enough about how great the Learning Strategy and Design program has been! I was a teacher, completely new to the field of Instructional Design. Although I learned that I had many transferable skills, this program gave me the knowledge I needed to utilize commonly used authoring tools to create all of the sample work needed for an impressive portfolio. I learned about the entire ID process- conducting necessary needs analysis, designing with storyboards, and then developing the courses and training necessary to close learning/skills gaps. The guidence converting my resume and creating a portfolio website was definitely key to landing my dream job as an Instructional Designer. This program is like anything, you get out of it what you put in. If you are considering a very well rounded program in which you are given every tool to succeed along with mentors and a supportive community, then look no further. Completing this program has been one of the best decisions I could have made professionally.

AIDA is hard work and takes a lot of time and commitment. It is not for the weak-hearted! That said, this program has prepared me very well for my new career as an instructional designer/eLearning developer and has given me the confidence I needed to transition from a 33 year career in education. Not only does AIDA teach the necessary technical skills (Storyline, Rise, Storyboarding, Camtasia, Vyond, ILT, vILT), but it also coaches you on resume revamping, portfolio development, career transition, and mindset! Put in the time. Do the work. Ask the questions. Attend the calls. Create your samples. Revise your samples. Revise your samples again. Read the books. Design your website. Revamp your resume. Build your LinkedIn profile. And... through it all...keep a positive mindset. You will succeed! Change is not always comfortable, but the reward will be a new career working from home with a more flexible schedule and higher pay! All in nine months or less! #totallyworthit

I joined AIDA in January. It is truly a solid program. I got tons of feedback on everything from assignments and projects to my portfolio and interview skills. It is a well rounded program and expensive when compared to some other programs and academies out there. However, I truly felt I got my money's worth from the program. I was provided with months of access to Storyline (vs just the free trial) and Well Said Labs. I got to meet with a small group of pod members and communicate with them through a Slack channel regularly. I participated in multiple coaching calls per week, which were invaluable during my journey. I started applying to jobs mid June and by early August, I had secured an ID job. I am so grateful to this program for helping me transition in my career.
