When I first started using MD live a couple years ago I thought it was a helpful as I always received proper care and diagnosis with prescriptions that addressed my issues. Lately, I’ve received doctors that give me rushed visits, aren’t listening or concerned with my overall health history and how it relates to the issue I’m calling about. In fact, my last 2-3 visits have resulted in me needing to schedule an emergency appointment with my primary doctor or specialist (allergist, ENT, etc) 2-3 days after my MD Live appointment to get the proper care I need because the doctors at MD Live didn’t address my original concern. This leads to my health further declining or the issue getting worse. I told the doctor about a recurring issue I have and she proceeded to give me OTC remedies that I knew wouldn’t work. Now, a couple days later (with doing everything she recommended) my issue has gotten worse resulting in me getting help in the end from my primary specialist. Last time I spoke to a MD Live doctor for the same issue and they prescribed me meds that got rid of the issue. It becomes hit or miss using this service and a waste of money and time. In the end, it was just better to squeeze in an emergency appointment with my doctor which I’ll stick to from now on.

Had difficulty getting the account set up. Set up on the app. Then my company info said to email the chatbox so the insurance info would carry over. Did that but already had an account setup. Asked the chatbox if they could link then it thought my first name was 'can you link'. Then called and like most companies, C/S is outsourced so could not understand the rep. Got off the phone and emailed them to see if I should just cancel the account. I despise this outsourcing of critical customer service processes and not being able to easily talk / text / chat with a person native to your country.

A bit misleading. Joined based on my ability to be treated with a particular medication only to discover an office visit was required for that medication. If the only way to receive the medication is with a in person visit, why advertise it? Had I known,I would not have wasted my time and the almost $200 cost of annual fee.

I simply wanted to reschedule my appointment. To do so, the text from MDLive said to call them. The call lasted 21 minutes and 30 seconds to have the appointment rescheduled. The call begins with a voice that reads a disclaimer lasting well over one minute. The entire call included having to enter the same payment information I’ve used for each previous visit. While I am grateful to have access to health care, this experience was unsatisfactory.

They are terrible at covering insurance. Their customer service agents provide incorrect information about insurance coverage, and they charge after claiming that things are fully covered.

Had my appointment with a doc on MDLive, as recommended by BCBS of Texas, and the process was very quick for taking my money and putting me online with a doc. The doc, a Promita Roychoudhury, also very quickly ended our call when it was taking me too long upload photos of my script bottle. I had other questions and another medical concern to discuss with her, but she was long gone... Then... she approved a 30 day refill once I submitted the photos a few minutes later. So I guess I'm supposed to call back for another 50 bucks next month, on a $3 script, and I never got to ask her my other questions. Just go to urgent care, or any other random doc online.
