Just another phone remote basically not worth it. Save your money buy a knock off on eBay or something the Xbox part is junk I was excited then it was a let down

The Backbone has been great. Playing Mobile games has been a great experience with the Backbone and I honestly can’t imagine playing them without it ever again. The only thing I would like to be added is that the Backbone allow us to add to our games even Apps that supposedly don’t have controller support because not all games with controller support announce it for example Megaman X Dive.

The controller itself is awesome. Took away one star because the free three months of Xbox game pass didn’t work and I never received a response from customer service.

I love the idea of the Backbone. I give it 3 stars mainly for comfortability and it works great for certain games on the App Store. However my main reason for getting the backbone was to be able to play Xbox game pass and use remote play with Xbox/ps4 but it’s so laggy that you can only play the game for like 5 minutes. I read online that you would have to disconnect certain devices from your Wi-Fi to make it run faster but even then it remained slow and skipped way too much. I was thinking that the devs should make an app where you play all of your Xbox games without the need of the console being around and it would require an internet connection but you wouldn’t need to disconnect any devices. I tried using it on LTE but that’s even worse. It has alot of potential but still needs work.

Listen man let me tell you something about this device… it’s way ahead of its time and the fact it brings Xbox to the palm of your hands anywhere makes its that much sweeter. I can finally play games without even having my Xbox with me on vacation cuss I have this handheld in my pocket at all times.

So far the best mobile gaming attachment for my phone that I’ve had.
