Once you cancel - you will have to hound them to stop charging you. Be careful -- I found their representative to be aggressive and dodgy when you decide to cancel. Super upset with these shysters.

We have been with Podium for going on 5 years using their CRM platform. Have been happy with the functionality of the CRM. About a year ago we added their VOIP service & this is when the problems started. Have had multiple ongoing call quality issues, support does their best but seems this company has its priorities in other industries. We are closing out our final month with them & then will be using a new provider.

Podium is great.....when it works. When it doesn't, trying to get someone to fix what's wrong is nearly impossible. Our automated review requests are down for the second time this year with the first time being for about a month and the second time going on a month with no end yet in site. It works great for requesting customer payments but keep in mind rates are higher than your regular credit card company's. It also works great for communication back and forth with customers. HOWEVER, the main reason we got Podium was for AUTOMATED REVIEW REQUESTS,

The site loads well and bare information is available, but there are areas that seemed to be unclear. I did not experience any significant challenges, but there are some aspects that could be done better. It works, although it can be done better.

Writing a review after being a customer for over a year now. Right from the start of the contract I felt like I wasn’t getting what was advertised to me at the time. And said features were additional add ons costing me more money. After consulting with a representative at a coffee shop and doing some strategy, it still didn’t work and most of my customers stopped receiving sms because well it’s annoying. Then I tried to cancel and they would not stating I was locked into this contract and could not leave without paying a fine. Well I stuck out the contract and now I’m getting a phone service for a fraction of the cost and all the same features. $500/month compared to $50/month. Pretty much a no brainer to switch. Two stars just because they were nice but they just sucked.

Ok product. Over priced. And once you're onboarded, the customer service is lacking. Unethical billing practices.

Overconfident with no Urgency Just got off the phone with Podium Customer Service looking to address an issue they caused with some recent changes to their product. The rep was overconfident, showed no urgency in resolving the issue we brought up to him, and regurgitated some scripted "we care about your business" rhetoric. I'm not convinced sir.

Some decent features- but is easily replaceable by better platforms. Terrible account management- we had multiple "managers" servicing our account in just over 18 months. Trying to reach them is impossible, and you have to schedule a call to even talk to them- I couldn't get a time slot for 1.5 weeks! Then, be careful of the auto renewing contract. They will not let you out of it even if you are dissatisfied using the product or no longer need it. DO NOT SIGN this.
