I've been going to quest for several years and have never had a problem until this year. I have no complaints for the location or staff, but it's been over a week and I still don't have my blood work results. I have these tests done yearly and always have results within the next day or two. This is unacceptable. You cannot get a hold of anybody on the phone and I requested results through the app and still have not gotten any type of feedback. Very frustrated because I want my doctor to have my results before my appointment which I have had to reschedule once.

Unprofessional, unacceptable, will not return.
My experience with this lab was beyond unprofessional. The company or individual labs cannot be reached by phone, the check in was impersonal, incomplete and in an enclosed, unstaffed area. They were not able to answer insurance questions and I felt pressured to deny several tests even though I have a very good secondary insurance. I will never return to a Quest Lab and am so sorry that I did not walk out and seek another lab today.

Handling "hard Stick" with ease
I brought my 82-year-old aunt, who has dementia, (1200 Binz St. Houston Tx) for lab work on January 24 at 1:50 PM. After several attempts with no success, Melissa passed by and immediately recognized my aunt from previous visits. She knew right away that my aunt is a “hard stick” and took the time to personally help her, despite having other tasks to attend to. Melissa was not only extremely knowledgeable but also warm, patient, and fun, making my aunt feel comfortable and cared for. She truly went above and beyond in providing exceptional customer service, and I’m incredibly grateful for her kindness and expertise. Thank you, Melissa, for making what could have been a stressful experience so much easier!

Worst place to draw blood and these miserable workers are rude and don't know how to care for people.

Slow and horrible customer service
I had my most recent labs unknowingly processed by Quest. Apparently our local hospital has contracted with Quest. This is an unfortunate decision because their lab used to be great.
The turnaround time for my bloodwork with Quest was 2 weeks and 2 days. Quest lost a second order for my bloodwork, I saw it on my portal as pending and the next day it was gone. I contacted them via chat and phone and they denied having had them even though I had proof. Quest had also posted someone else's labs to my portal and would not take a report without me staying on the phone and wasting my time helping them fix something I had nothing to do with. They did not seem to care that posting someone else's results to my account is a clear HIPPA violation.
Never again

not worth it unless you want someone to shove poop in your face and give you an attitude about it too
Today I had an appointment to turn in a specimen. This was my second time trying to get the specimen turned in- the first time I was told I needed to do it again because it was supposed to be frozen not refrigerated. On the specimen bottle itself and on the bag was written: "REFRIDGERATE" IN SHARPIE
I should have expected the appointment to not go well the moment I heard her mispronounce my name twice, and again despite me correcting her. Mind you, she was in fact very fluent in English and the name is a basic English word. From one Hispanic person to another, there was absolutely no excuse- she just didn't care considering she looked extremely annoyed and bothered by anyone and everything.
The people helping me in my appointments to that point were kind and respectful, but I have never been disrespected as badly as I was today by anyone in my life, and I mean that by no exaggeration. I was treated like I was an idiot for bringing in a specimen that was slightly over the red line. Mind you there is absolutely no warning on the bottle, it's packaging, or its information pamphlets not to exceed that line, just to add specimen TO that line. I have had specimens refused elsewhere in the past for insufficient quantity, so I filled to the line but it went slightly over by no more than a centimeter. This wasn't my intention but it was the second time i've tried to do this sample already for issues outside of my control.
The girl who took my sample handled it like it was disgusting, which made me feel embarrassed, and she goes to show it to a coworker who says "Where's the liquid?" There was never any liquid in the bottle to begin with. Then she asks me as well and I tell her "there was no liquid." She leaves and then comes back with a new specimen container and starts basically scolding me for the sample being over the line. I have had such a hard time trying to get this sample turned in because of health restrictions making it difficult for me to make the specimen. She holds my specimen in front of me, which at this point I should let you know is stool, and I mean she quite literally shoved it in my face and treated me like an idiot by saying "See, it is clearly over the line. Either you fix this or you do it again it's up to you." She was still handling it like it was disgusting and even making disgusted facial expressions at me.
Nowhere on the container does it say not to fill past that line, and It was only one centimeter over. All that aside, I would have been okay with being told this if I was treated like a basic human being and not like an idiotic nuisance. But to literally shove shit in my face and act that way with me for a specimen I urgently need processed for my health issues and then treat me that was beyond belief. I would usually express my displeasure with being treated this way on the spot, but I was legitimately baffled by the audacity and disrespect of someone who is supposedly a health care professional. I have never seen anyone be treated this way in any health care institution.
This location might be convenient, but it's not worth it unless you want someone to shove poop in your face and give you an attitude.

Billing
I paid a bill and even though the money was taken out of my account they continued sending me bills. It took almost 6 months to resolve and hours on the phone even after sending proof they took the money out of my account. Avoid quest at all costs.
