Sheet Music DirectReviews of sheetmusicdirect.com

They sign you up for a monthly $10 subscription without your knowledge. Very deceitful!

With a PASS membership as a harmonica player with piano and guitar players, Sheet Music between live sessions, let's me practice my harmonica skills with my iPad sheet music. Additionally Their customer service replies are speedily answered and direct. Their email responses are as good as a phone call. 10 stars!

I recently needed assistance from customer service because I had bought the wrong version of a song. When I inquired about the possibility of exchanging it, I received an email from Jacqulyn. She had already refunded my money and directed me to the version I sought based on my description. When the sheet music was printed out, my student needed a much lower key in order to give the song its proper timbre. When I inquired further about changing the key, I actually heard back from the same agent! She gave me the thorough instructions and wrote for me not to hesitate to reach out for further help. I wasn't able to complete the key change so she did the transposition for me and sent a PDF file to me that was ready to print. First if all, to keep the same agent instead of getting bounced around from one to another was such a different experience and it made the whole exchange so much easier. Every response was very quick and always had the answers for my situation. I made sure to share with her that not only was her assistance outstanding, it was unsurpassed. I have never written a truer statement. Thank you SO much for the excellent experience. I will be a customer for life because of this exchange.

DO NOT buy music from these people!! They will sign you up without your knowledge or asked for consent to what they call a Pass Subscription and charge £10 a month without any notification!! On the invoice I received regarding my one and only purchase, the words 'paid in full' were written after the total and there was no mention at all of a subscription being set up. This seems to be done somewhere in the background and is hidden until you realise these people are taking your money! If you have purchased anything from them I reccomend contacting your bank and notifying them to refuse any further payments! I have emailed twice to complain about this and try to get my money back but have only received an automated reply with no human follow-up. Update on the 27th of September 2026: SMD has BLOCKED me on Facebook after commenting to warn others of their shady practices, and to try get any help with my issue. Its now been over 2 weeks since I emailed them, and I am being ignored.

Like. many others have reported, SMD fraudulently started charging my credit card for a monthly subscription, at s14 Cdn/month. I’d suggest you avoid them like the plague.

Absolute daylight robbery - their checkout process is extremely confusing and misleading, I thought I had purchased 2 sheets of music for my daughters, next thing I've been charged a subscription. I emailed immediately to ask for this to be refunded and it has been denied. I wouldn't go near this website, completely underhand way of operating.

As a piano player I use many different websites to purchase sheet music and Sheetmusic Direct by far is the worst one I've used. The user interface is difficult to navigate, there are many pieces of sheet music clearly written by non-musicians, and the prices are much higher than other websites such as musicnotes. I would not recommend.
