Like I always say, I think nothing but fantastic thoughts around Silverado. My mom could not be at a better place. They have a huge staff who all seem to be so caring, there are so many activities that stimulate their mind, my mom at least has a beautiful Marriott-style room, and I don't have to worry that she is fed, supplements given, sleeps well at night and has a comfortable bed, has activities, has round-the-clock care, is able to play the piano ongoingly, her lifelong career, and I could go on and on! Thank you, Silverado. My life is just a smidge – well, no, a lot -- easier because of you!

I was very concerned in moving my mother into a care facility because she was adamant that she would not leave her home of 65 years. The Silverado staff was very reassuring. They helped me to understand that the move was in my mother's best interests and made the transition as easy as possible for both of us. The staff was always available to answer any questions or concerns i had immediately. The staff were extremely patient with my mother and knew how to manage her needs and difficult personality. It took a bit of time but my mother now seems to have acclimated to the facility and is participating in the offered activities. I appreciate that she is receiving quality care.

Silverado is an exceptional community. They stand far above the rest in terms of care quality and culture. It feels like home. The residents always appear well cared for, they have so many options of things they can do to find purpose and quality of life, and the staff is so passionate about what they do! They have an amazing program called Nexus, which provides specialized brain healthy activities for seniors with early stage Dementia to slow the progression and improve their ability to function and maintain independence. Silverado has truly thought of everything to provide the best care for their residents!

Silverado has been amazing. When I realized my 94 year old aunt was going to need to be in a memory community I wanted the place she would soon live in to be perfect for her and Silverado has stepped up to the challenge. I live out of state and Silverado has been wonderful at sending me photos and keeping me up to date on how she’s doing. This was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make and the staff there have been wonderful in making it a smooth transition for all of us.

Silverado Newport Mesa is a breath of fresh air in the dementia care industry. The team there truly cares about each resident! Their approach is thoughtful and intentional. For example, they offer complimentary meals for visiting family members... this may seem like a small thing, but it goes so far in making families feel welcomed at the community and still part of their loved ones day to day life and routine. The team is fantastic! Courtney is the best friend that families didn't know they had. From when you first sit down with her she creates a safe and comfortable environment to discuss the personal circumstances of a loved ones needs. And she does it with sincere kindness and genuine compassion. I recommend this community to anyone on the challenging journey of caring for a loved on with dementia.
