Software Advice is a scam! Providers Beware!!!
Software Advice is a scam! I signed my company up for Software Advice and was shocked to learn how they are disparaging my company and I'm paying them a fortune every month to do it! Consistently claiming our software wont meet their clients needs even though we are a better qualified match and recommending platforms like Hub-spot instead. Hub Spot is a great platform, but not to run a nonprofit organization. But they can afford to pay top dollar for each one of these leads and add an additional bid on top of that initial price to be sure the name of my company is audibly said last as the furthest match from the Clients need so they can turn leads into unsatisfied customers. I even had one client ask directly for our phone number stating he knew he wanted us. Software advice refused, made him feel stupid, and told him he did not want our platform but should try these other four platforms and if he would agree to let their sales teams call him as well then they would forward us his information and we may reach out. I tried this campaign to help get the name of our software company out there, so potential clients could see that our team has spent 15 years developing an all-in-one studio that really has everything they need. Instead I have been scammed out of thousands of dollars and slandered along the way.

Thank you for your feedback. Software Advice's advisors do not make subjective or opinion-based recommendations. We match buyers with vendors based on 1) the application needs and budget of the buyer and 2) the criteria vendors have specified for us. We do our best to accommodate buyers who request specific products and provide them with the contact information whenever possible. I've flagged this issue to your account manager, who will be reaching out to you soon to address your concerns.
