The sense of "community" here is little to none. Their platform makes it hard for testers to reach out to leadership during active testing. We can't interact with fellow testers outside of the project. I don't understand why they keep mentioning "community" in emails when there has been no change in the 2 years I've had my profile on this platform. Not only is there little support, they are not forgiving of tester mistakes. When a submitted report is sent back to you for edit, score goes down and pay goes down regardless of effort and time. I forgot to upload a file; I can upload it. Why demerit? I've only experienced that on this platform; elsewhere they are more understanding of testers. Also, there aren't that many opportunities on this platform.

Hi there, Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the sense of community hasn’t met your expectations and that interacting with the Test Managers or fellow testers has been difficult. We also understand how frustrating it can feel when small mistakes affect scores or pay, and your points about support and opportunity availability are noted. Feedback like yours helps us see where we need to improve, and we’re actively working on making the platform better for everyone.

Payments are very encouraging and motivates testers to be more creative and deep thinkers in finding bugs on testing sites. But sometimes when surveys are filled for an upcoming projects testers don’t get any feedback from the team, I believe each tester has their account and devices all set up such that if a suitable project is available they should be invited hence the invitation to fill the survey but they get no feedback after.

Hi there, Thank you for the thoughtful and balanced feedback! We really appreciate it. We’re glad to hear that the payments feel motivating and they encourage deeper, more creative testing. That’s exactly the kind of mindset we love to see in our community. We also understand your point regarding surveys and follow-ups. Completing a survey doesn’t always guarantee an invitation, as project selection depends on specific client requirements (devices, location, OS, and other criteria). That said, we agree that clearer communication around this process is important, and we’re actively working on improving transparency and feedback where possible. Thanks again for sharing your experience and helping us improve. We’re grateful to have you as part of Tester Work 💙
