xCloud Went from Promising to Phenomenal, and Here's Why
When I first switched to xCloud from Cloudways, my initial review here was fair but cautious. They showed a lot of promise, but I called out some support issues and missing features at the time. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, hoping they'd level up. Fast forward to today, and WOW! Boy did they deliver!!! xCloud has turned potential into power. What blows me away is how obsessively and deeply they listen to their customers. Nearly every suggestion I (and others in their Facebook group) have shared has been acknowledged, considered, discussed, and a huge chunk of cases, have actually been implemented ... that’s rare in this industry. Their Facebook group stays active, and the xCloud team is consistently present, answering questions, sharing updates, and actually talking to their users (and non-users) like actual humans. And better yet, they roll out meaningful, customer driven updates constantly - at least once or twice a month, if not more. They're not fluff updates either; these are real, valuable improvements that directly address user feedback, fixing customer issues; about a week ago someone mentioned an issue with their magic login featured that I and a few others agreed with, and BY THE NEXT DAY they implemented a fix and feature update!!! Woooow! As far as new features go, they push them out at a rate that I can't even keep up with, and I absolutely love that! They're inadvertently teaching me (via new features) things about their services that I didn't even realize was possible. Performance is still solid, the admin panel is even better now, and support response times have noticeably improved. I no longer worry about getting stuck without help. Honestly, their control panel is one of the best I've worked with. Better than Cloudways, WPEngine, Siteground, Hostinger, and (gag) BlueHost. And their pricing? I mean, how is it possible for everything they offer? It's refreshingly fair. You get premium level performance and features without the premium price, which makes sticking with them a no-brainer for me. If you told me 6 months ago that this platform would become one of the most responsive, community-driven hosting providers around, I wouldn't have believed it. But they pulled it off ... and then some. Without a doubt I'm glad that I switched from Cloudways to xCloud. If you’re on the fence about xCloud, don’t be. They’ve shown me what a committed, customer-focused hosting company can actually look like. From rough start to rockstar — consider me impressed. Six months after my initial review, I'm thrilled to update it with a well-deserved 5 stars now. I’m excited to see how they keep evolving. I hope to keep growing along with them!
