The experience has been great. The work is fun and interesting. What is particularly nice is that you have an assigned quantity of task for each day so it is not a case of logging in and hoping and waiting for task to appear. I appreciate knowing how many I have available each day so I can plan my day around it. Finally the payments an consistently released weekly. All in all I am glad I signed up and I am happy to continue with them.

**Pünktliche Bezahlung, aber erhebliche Mängel bei Betreuung und Organisation** Positiv möchte ich zuerst die Bezahlung hervorheben: Meine Zahlungen kamen stets absolut pünktlich. Diese Verlässlichkeit habe ich sehr geschätzt. Leider waren meine Erfahrungen mit der Unterstützung durch QAs und Admins deutlich schlechter. Fachliche Fragen blieben nach meiner Erfahrung wiederholt unbeantwortet – sowohl im Chat als auch bei direkten Nachrichten und E-Mails. Selbst ausdrückliche Bitten um Hilfe führten nicht zuverlässig zu einer Klärung. Bei konkreten Regelfragen entstand für mich häufig der Eindruck mangelnder fachlicher Kompetenz oder unklarer Zuständigkeiten. Hilfesuchende waren auf Antworten anderer Mitarbeitender angewiesen, ohne erkennen zu können, ob diese auf offiziellen Vorgaben oder persönlichen Auslegungen beruhten. Die anfangs regelmäßigen Office Hours wurden zunehmend seltener und teilweise sehr kurzfristig angekündigt. Dort besprochene zusätzliche Regeln wurden nach meiner Erfahrung nicht zuverlässig in den Styleguide übernommen. Gleichzeitig enthielt dieser widersprüchliche Anweisungen, fehlerhafte Beispiele und fehlende Informationen. Trotz wiederholter Hinweise blieben notwendige Klarstellungen aus. Besonders problematisch finde ich, dass unter diesen Bedingungen die Arbeit bewertet wird. Wer sich an die verfügbare Dokumentation hält, sollte nicht wegen einer anderen persönlichen Regelauslegung schlechter bewertet werden. Einzelne hilfreiche Hinweise von QAs gab es durchaus. Sie konnten jedoch eine verlässlich erreichbare, fachlich fundierte Betreuung nicht ersetzen. Mein Fazit: Die pünktliche Bezahlung ist ein klarer Pluspunkt. Bei Erreichbarkeit, Unterstützung und fachlicher Führung habe ich dagegen erhebliche Defizite erlebt. Babel sollte dringend in qualifizierte Ansprechpartner, verbindliche Antworten und einen vollständigen, widerspruchsfreien Styleguide investieren.

In the both projects i particapated at i must say the treatment was bad. Always Criticism, never good enough for them. The payment on the analytics project was so bad that i eventually stopped doing tasks, for 3,20 per task that takes up to 40 minutes + thats just not worth it. I did 20 tasks regardless and then i received the mail that i would be removed without any reason. Before that i had a long transition without any project offering or without being accepted to any project. The payment is real but i cant say if you can really rely on babel audio to have a constant secondary money stream since you get easily removed from projects.
