I received a discount for my purchase…
I received a discount for my purchase and when I tried several times to apply at checkout it kept saying invalid. Also, charging a LONG TIME CUSTOMER FOR SHIPPING (9.00) is ridiculous.

Perfect example of a company that pays more attention to the storytelling than the quality of the products: I lost a pearl earring because the pearl fell off and they artfully accused me of lying; I complained about a gold bracelet that after a few years looks mauled because the chain is so flimsy it doesn’t even sustain the least amount of pressure and they told me they can’t do anything since I live in Europe (which apparently is no problem at all when they receive the payments). Worst type of corporate business disguised as a fairyland. Tons of hypocrisy and passive-aggressive attitude. Awful customer service.

Hi there, we’re truly sorry that your experience with us left you feeling this way. We would never want a customer to feel that their concerns were being dismissed or that their honesty was being questioned. Our warranty does not cover lost jewelry, and at this time we're unfortunately unable to provide return options or repair warranty services internationally. We understand that these limitations were disappointing in your situation, and we appreciate the feedback you've shared with our team.

I wish I would’ve came here before I purchased anything from this jewelry store horrible horrible horrible why do I have to pay for shipping and then why do I have to pay the same to return an item that I don’t even want this is a shame they’re gonna go out of business soon
Response from Catbird· Aug 7, 2026
Hi Rena, we’re sorry the shipping and return costs left you disappointed. For returns made by mail, the cost of the return label is deducted from the refund, and we understand that additional cost can be frustrating when a piece simply doesn’t work out. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us.

I tried placing an order online on the Canadian site. Not only is the price extremely inflated but the promo codes get applied inconsistently. For example, a 15% off promo code I tried to apply to my $2,500CAD order only took off ~$122 CAD. Customer service is well meaning and responsive but very unreliable. I will not buy from this company anymore.

Hi Sadie, we’re sorry this experience was frustrating, and we appreciate you acknowledging that our team was responsive along the way. Promotions can have exclusions depending on the items and charges within an order, but we completely understand how seeing a discount apply differently than expected would be confusing. We appreciate the feedback and will continue working to make our pricing and promotion details as clear as possible.

I bought a charm on 1/18 and never received it. I don’t have a refund nor the item. Catbird punishes its customers - who have to pay for shipping - for a poor carrier.

I’ve had the same experience as others here. Ordered some rings and earrings as gift for Christmas. Put in our order in November with a delivery date before Christmas, I never received any of it, nobody bothered to contact me, I had to use my time to chase down answers and was given different dates they failed to meet. Finally received my items a full two months later near the end of January with no contact, apology, or acknowledgment of poor service. I would not purchase from this company again. In hindsight I wish I had just requested a chargeback from my credit card company when the items weren’t delivered.

I would warn anyone from using this website. I am not sure if they are a scam. I purchased an expensive ring for my daughter with a Dec. 24 delivery date. I emailed the company and received confirmation that it would arrive by that date. It is not January 12 and there is no sign of that ring. I emailed the company about this and received NO reply. When I used their "chat" box on their website at the beginning of January they assured me to would be mailed on January 7. Today communicating via that "chat" box they say they have still not received the MATERIALS for this ring. And meanwhile they have offered no customer updates or communication. Truly an awful experience.

Their designs are very cute and offer a nice selection of dainty jewelry. I received a necklace as a gift. The chains are beautiful. However the gold on pendants scratches a bit easier than I would like it to but I would say everything is still moderately well priced.
