Moved into a rental last June and it has a huge fridge with a bottom freezer and ice maker. Works great, I don't know how old it is but at least 5yr. I would consider Frigidaire when I purchase my own.

Around a year ago, we purchased an upright freezer. About a month ago, the green light on the bottom was flashing, and it was beeping every 10 minutes or so. I called Frigidaire and a technician came out, identified the issue, and although it took two weeks to get the parts, they were installed with no charges. I was thankful for this experience, not that the parts broke but that it was fixed without too much drama. Just had to move everything to another freezer for two weeks.
