One of the many reasons we started this company was simply that there was no company that provided reliable services, or even quality support for their mediocre services. Now you have us! We started 5 years ago, and have spent every second of that time improving every aspect of our company. We will always continue to improve our services, and we are always welcome to hearing your feedback or suggestions for any of the services we provide!

owner is beyond unprofessional
customer service was unprofessional, was talked to out of pocket, called a "retard" by the owner, services were never rendered and then canceled.

I decided to go with GoodLeaf hosting…
I decided to go with GoodLeaf hosting because I needed a switch from Pine hosting as I didn't have full control really and there was no option to use MariaDB. I did run into an issue when trying to purchase a service, but I contacted support and they responded quite quickly and the customer service was great!

Run as fast as you can.
I made a ticket inquiring about more storage and had mentioned my old host compensated for windows and they proceeded to start a whole argument demanding I tell them which hosting companies do this and such and after I said that was pretty darn rude they SUSPENDED my VPS with no warning in an attempt to make me lose my fivem server however I back up my server daily thank goodness. The owner of this so called hosting company proceeded to private message me to keep arguing in which at that point I did curse him out as that is NOT ok. He then proceeded to message my wife in which didn't go well for him either. This is NOT a good place to spend your money.
Edit: I dont care how many times you try to flag my review I will fight it everytime. There is no false information shared here if anything I left some details out. Thank you Trust Pilot for keeping my review up!

Hello,
The statements in this review do not accurately reflect what occurred.
You contacted our support team regarding additional storage and mentioned that your previous hosting provider had compensated you for Windows licensing by providing additional storage and asked us to do the same. Since this is not an industry practice we were familiar with, our staff simply asked for the name of the previous provider so we could review their offering and determine whether a comparable arrangement or price match was possible.
Following that request, the conversation became increasingly hostile toward our staff. You then stated that you intended to dispute the payment for your service. Initiating or threatening a payment dispute is a violation of our Terms of Service, which is why the VPS was suspended. The suspension was not an attempt to cause you to lose your FiveM server or data.
Approximately a week later, our payment processor notified us that the transaction had in fact been disputed. In accordance with our Terms of Service, the disputed balance and applicable dispute fee were added to the account and became subject to our normal collections process.
A representative also attempted to contact you directly in an effort to resolve the outstanding balance without further escalation. Unfortunately, that conversation also became hostile and included profanity directed toward our representative.
We understand that you are unhappy with how the situation ended, but we believe it is important that the full context is available to anyone reading this review.

Highly recommended for a FiveM server
Highly recommended for a FiveM server. Good Leaf provides a great service and was able to match competitive pricing. Has one of the best ddos protection methods out, without breaking the bank. Holds true to their 99.9% up time and offers lightning fast response times in tickets as well as their 10GBps connections. Grab a dedicated server from them you will not regret it.

Deceptive Business Practices, Hidden Fees, and Extreme Unprofessionalism
I am writing this to alert the community about my experience with GoodLeafDev. What started as a standard VPS purchase quickly turned into a textbook case of "bait and switch."
1. Hidden Fees: I purchased a VPS advertised with high-capacity DDoS protection included on the sales page. Immediately after payment, the staff opened a ticket demanding an additional $10 just to activate the protection I had already paid for.
2. Verbal Abuse: When I requested a refund based on their 48-hour guarantee, the support interaction became extremely toxic. Instead of professional assistance, I was met with severe verbal insults and vulgar language from their representative.
3. Retaliation: Shortly after I initiated a dispute, my account was banned from both their Discord and their website under the guise of "conduct towards staff," effectively locking me out of the service I paid for and attempting to remove the evidence of our conversation.
4. Predatory Terms: Their legal terms include threats of excessive "administrative fees" for payment disputes, which seems designed to intimidate customers from exercising their consumer rights.
I have full documentation, including invoices, screenshots of the hidden fee demands, and the unprofessional conduct of their staff. I successfully recovered my funds through a dispute. Stay away if you value transparency and respect.

Hello,
We would like to clarify several claims made in this review, as they do not accurately represent what occurred.
The VPS service purchased included our standard DDoS protection. The additional $10 discussed in the ticket was related to an optional configuration/service and was not a fee required to activate protection that had already been purchased. At no point was the advertised service intentionally withheld after payment.
Regarding the refund request, our refund policy is governed by the eligibility requirements listed in our Terms of Service. Unfortunately, the support interaction escalated significantly, including inappropriate language and conduct directed toward our staff. We do not condone unprofessional communication from either customers or representatives, and we have reviewed the interaction internally.
The account restrictions were not imposed to conceal conversations or prevent access to evidence. They were the result of the customer's conduct toward staff and the subsequent payment dispute. Our policies permit us to restrict or terminate accounts in circumstances involving abusive conduct, chargebacks, or violations of our Terms of Service.
Our dispute-related administrative fees are also disclosed within our Terms of Service and are intended to cover the costs and administrative burden associated with payment disputes. Customers remain free to use the dispute mechanisms available through their payment provider.
We respect everyone's right to share their experience, but we also believe prospective customers deserve the full context surrounding an incident. We maintain records of the relevant support conversations, billing activity, and account actions and stand behind the actions taken in accordance with our policies.

Do NOT Use GoodLeaf Hosting – Deliberate Obstruction, Runaround, Review Censorship and Blatant Double Standards
I had fully migrated to another provider and simply wanted to cancel my two VPS servers at the end of the billing period so I could finish backups and migration. This should have been quick and routine.
Instead, it became a nightmare of incompetence and obstruction. My first cancellation request clearly asked for an end-of-billing cancellation. Agent J denied it as too vague, not valid, and possibly not from the owner. I restated the cancellation multiple times. Agent J then canceled the entire request himself and forced me to resubmit. I had to request cancellation at least 5 times before they finally processed it. And they only cancelled it after I told them to immediately terminate the services, since Agent J had refused to acknowledge my earlier request. That was my very last request because I wanted to end the conversation with him. Their later claim that my request “wasn’t clear” is a complete lie.
After the services were terminated, I opened a ticket to remove my payment methods. I repeatedly told them there were zero active services, and I am the owner. Agent J first said the system removes them in 90 days, then refused. He admitted in writing there is no such policy in their ToS, then claimed the cards aren’t even stored here but with Stripe — yet still refused to remove them. At least 4 separate refusals in one ticket.
When I complained about Agent J’s behavior, Agent Y defended him instead of helping, saying they couldn’t do anything because Agent J is the manager. The whole team protects incompetence from the top down.
Their company's reply to my removed review is pure gaslighting and lies. They claimed my request wasn’t clear on timing — false. Called it “standard process” — false, they canceled my request anyway. Said they never tried to make leaving difficult — false, every step was obstructive. They defended the $350 fee threat as normal and blamed review removal on naming staff, while their positive reviews (including highlighted ones) freely name staff. Complete hypocrisy and double standard.
The reason I left (their VPS was slow, confirmed by my whole team) was perfectly valid. I should not have had to justify it at all. I have full screenshots and logs proving everything. This was not simple incompetence — it was deliberate, repeated obstruction protected at the management level.
I will never use GoodLeaf Hosting again and will never recommend them. If you ever plan to cancel or leave, stay far away from these people.
Update – May 19, 2026
GoodLeaf repeatedly tried to have this review removed by flagging it multiple times and they lied in their reply to my review. After I submitted proof, Trustpilot reviewed it and restored the review.
This shows how far they were willing to go to silence legitimate feedback. Everything written above is fully documented. The truth has to come out.
Update – August 11, 2026
GoodLeaf Hosting has updated their official response after several months, attempting to reframe their behavior as standard protocol. Their claims continue to directly contradict their own support ticket records:
On Cancellation "Clarification": The company claims staff were simply avoiding "data loss." The initial support ticket explicitly requested an end-of-billing-period cancellation. Management denied the initial request as "vague," mockingly stated they were happy the service would continue, and forced a re-submission of a formal request. The cancellation had to be explicitly demanded 5 separate times within the ticket chain while management continually refused and denied it before it was finally processed.
On Stored Payment Methods: The company claims staff explained how to remove payment methods. In reality, management fabricated a non-existent "90-day system hold," admitted in writing that no such policy exists in their Terms of Service, and repeatedly refused to remove payment cards from the client portal. To this day, months later, payment information remains trapped on the site despite zero active services.
On the $350 Dispute Fee: The company defends threatening a $350 fee sent to collections as standard ToS policy. In practice, this threat was explicitly weaponized to intimidate a departing customer out of exercising credit card dispute rights.
Complete, unedited screenshot logs exist verifying every single message cited above. Corporate spin cannot rewrite written ticket transcripts. Potential customers should be aware that once an account is created, billing details will not be removed upon request, and leaving will involve maximum friction.
Response from GoodLeaf Hosting· May 18, 2026
Hello,
We disagree with several characterizations in this review and would like to provide additional context.
Our staff were not attempting to prevent or delay the cancellation of your services. The initial request required clarification regarding when the services were to be terminated, particularly because termination can result in permanent data loss. Once we received clear confirmation of the requested action, the services were cancelled accordingly. Our intention was to ensure that we did not prematurely terminate services or delete data without proper authorization.
Regarding payment methods, card information is processed and stored securely through our payment processor rather than directly by GoodLeaf Hosting. Our staff explained the available process for removing or allowing stored payment methods to expire from the account. There were no active services or additional charges being intentionally forced upon the account.
We also want to clarify that escalation to management does not guarantee that a customer's requested outcome will override established billing, security, or account procedures. Staff members are expected to follow those procedures consistently.
The $350 dispute-related administrative fee referenced in this review is disclosed within our Terms of Service and applies in circumstances outlined there. It is not intended to prevent customers from cancelling their services or exercising rights available through their payment provider.
Finally, we do not control whether Trustpilot removes or restores a review. Reviews may be reported when we believe they potentially violate the platform's guidelines, but Trustpilot ultimately determines whether a review remains published.
We understand that you were dissatisfied with both the service and the cancellation experience, and we respect your decision to move to another provider. However, we strongly disagree that there was any deliberate effort to obstruct your departure, conceal evidence, or silence legitimate criticism.
