I would give 0 stars if it was possible. You get your exams done but they will try to scam you on your bills and make sure it is impossible to solve through the phone. I honestly hate this place and will make sure everyone gives up on having exams done there. For exams done in Aug/21, they never billed my insurance, pretended the clinic said I had no insurance, refused to solve it and in the end sent my name to collections. All this while exams done in Feb/22 were sent to my insurance and easily solved.

Booked my appointment approximately a…11:45
Booked my appointment approximately a week in advance. Went in and kiosk to check in was not working. Tried second kiosk and was told my appointment was not recognized. Other people in waiting room with appointments were there for over 2 hours and were told sorry they are short staffed. Why book an appointment???

Finding a new lab
There is no longer a receptionist or any staff available for patients in the waiting room. You sign in on a tablet that may or may not work depending upon the day. No information on wait time is provided. In the past, I have been told to knock if I need to speak to someone. My last visit I knocked on the front desk window and was scolded for doing so. I explained I had been told to knock, but they replied knocking on the window wasn’t allowed- only on the door. I suggested signs posted in the waiting room would be helpful to waiting patients, but I was informed they were told to take the signs down because Quest felt they were unprofessional. Sadly, their current system with no receptionist is already unprofessional. A take a number system, along with showing the number currently being served would be more efficient and considerate to waiting patients than what they are currently doing.

This is listed as a new location in texas
This is listed as a new location. I am original medicare with geha secondary and a lab card. Got my appointment and results. It shows I had not fasted but I did some 24 hours and reported on the kiosk for cmp test. The techs took no insurance cards and quickly did the test , my wife said I didn't need to give cards as the doctor's office sends it to them. I have used quest for over 10 years but they continue to send me a bill and say I don't have a record of insurance coverage on file . I have used quest websites that keeps sending me in circles in attempts to update insurance to no avail . I was told by the tech I was so close to closing almost missed my appointment . I replied that I was there a half our with the kiosk in the lobby . Trying to input insurance and other data that never accepted my medicare or geha lab cards. But I did get serviced and my results but I expect I will get a bill maybe around 2000.00 and have to do as I did in the past to clean it up . Lots of everyone's manpower for kiosk poor apps and website cheapy programs

Quest Diagnostic took my blood test
Quest Diagnostic took my blood test, but did not send the test results to my doctor or to me. I had to follow up and make the request to provide the test results to both my doctor and myself. It’s been five days and I am still waiting. Avoid Quest like the plague

This location of the company is the worst
I am from a larger city, and I thought I had a chance for a fresh start in a quieter place like Birmingham AL This has not been the case. I had prepared to settle in and start working because I was slated for a job as a driver for the company. Since the beginning of the year, I have had nothing but grief from one individual to the next.
I tried calling the local office phone number several times to speak with the person who was to hire me and I had no luck. Although the national phone line stated that this location was open for business, no one would put me in touch with who was supposed to complete the interview with me. After days of repeatedly calling the national number again, I was finally able to get a supervisor's name for this location, which no one seemed to want to provide. People were overly hesitant acting suspicious as if there was something to hide.
I tried to confirm our scheduled meeting once again with no luck. So I literally set out to find the location a couple of days early so I could be better prepared. That proved to be a pain as well, because the GPS sent me around to the side of the building I was looking for. I thought I was lost for at least 15 minutes. To further complicate things, the main door to the building required access to get in by another individual.
Once inside, I noticed a person with a logo on his jacket, who said he worked for Quest Diagnostics. It seemed promising at first when I asked him to direct me to their office to meet with the supervisor. He told me that Terri Copeland was not there, and he didn't know when she would be in. This seems very odd to me because I was scheduled to be interviewed to start work soon.
Frustrated, I asked the employee why no one answered the phone while they were open. He said that most everyone there was a driver, so they ignore the phone if they happen to hear it ringing. He also said that they had been ignoring it for so long that he's not sure if the phone still worked. Now I was starting to get really annoyed and wondered what kind of company I had applied to. No supervisor was present, no one was available to take her calls, and apparently, there was no one to connect me with her in a timely manner. The same guy told me that I could possibly call her mobile number but she may not answer that either. To make things worse, he said if you don't have her number already, I'm not sure if I should give it to you. I told him this was highly unusual behavior for a national company that I was about to be employed by.
Promptness didn't seem to help me at all, so I asked the employee to please take my name and number and have her call me ASAP. He said he would do his best to pass it on.
After that day, I grew more skeptical. More days passed, and I waited for a return call that I never received from her. I tried calling their national phone line again, and I also made a return trip to the office. Still no visible management. and no real answers. Meanwhile, I have to seek employment elsewhere because of this woman's total disregard for her position. This is the first time I have ever experienced anything so unprofessional. I thought perhaps sickness or unexpected company business was a factor in all of this, but I was informed by another individual in that building that this was not the case. They also stated that I was not the first person to encounter a problem with her.
Nevertheless, I am highly upset because it took me moving to this city to find this out. I should have never been made to believe that I had a scheduled interview. It is totally clear that this particular office needs to hire a supervisor much more than they need drivers.

A zero star is not an option-HORRIBLE
A zero star is not an option. If so, Quest location - Old St Augustine Road, Jacksonville, Fl. would have deserved just that! Absolutely undbelievable, people do not want to work! Cannot get an online appointment for weeks and weeks out and when you walk in and they tell you (tv playing in lobby and online message stating) you will be worked in between appointments and employees INTENTIONALLY do not call in anyone without an appointment even when there is time between scheduled appointments! This place is so unprofessional and EVERYONE in the lobby the morning of January 20th had the same experience and most left. This is exactly what those two ladies working that day wanted!! Personally, I went to Baptist Lab and had the best experience ever! While at Baptist, I ran into another lady who was waiting at quest- she as well said never again will she go back there! Baptist employees wanted to actually work and help customers!
Baptist 5 stars!
Quest 0 stars!
