My 1 star rating is not so much for me…
My 1 star rating is not so much for me but my observation of the treatment of elderly patients. And my last visit is not the first time I have noted this behavior on the part of Quest employees. I was at a Quest location in Seminole Florida. Quest is not the place for elderly patients who are not technically inclined. Many of them try to walk in for testing as they are not computer literate and cannot book online. There is no one to talk to, only a kiosk which they cannot navigate. I heard an employee tell this little old man there is no guarantee of service if you don't have an appointment. He could barely walk around and I can only imagine how hard it was just to get himself to the lab only to be turned away. I wish I did not have to use Quest because I hate to see the treatment some patients get there. I would like to have given him my spot, but I couldn't to that on this occasion. Healthcare is supposed to be compassionate, but you won't find it at Quest if you are an elderly person needing help with appointments.
