When to drop off sample. Based on phone recording you don't need an appointment. So had to check in one technician told me it would be a few minutes. After waiting 35 minutes. I asked a different techican. She said "we are busy so you have to wait" I said I have been waiting 35 minutes how long will it be she said "I don't know just take a seat and wait" So I left and made an appointment for the following day! So make an appointment

A Frustrating Experience: Rushed, Uncaring, and Unprofessional Service
On February 28, 2025, we visited the Quest Diagnostics location at 4801 S University Dr, Davie, FL 33328-3821, just before closing time. There were four other patients in the waiting area. After my wife checked in, a staff member appeared and bluntly announced that walk-ins would no longer be accepted for the day. Without any attempt at courtesy or accommodation, we were essentially turned away. If this had been a restaurant—where customer satisfaction directly impacts business—this would have been enough reason never to return.
The next day, we decided to try the Quest Diagnostics location at 12237 Pembroke Rd, Pembroke Pines, FL 33027. After checking in, we sat down to wait for our turn. However, we soon noticed that the same piece of music was playing loudly in a continuous loop, to the point that it became unbearable—not just for us, but for others in the waiting area as well. We politely asked a staff member if the music could be turned off or adjusted. Her response was cold and dismissive, something along the lines of: “Quest has set this up for a reason. We have no control over it.” She then promptly shut the door, avoiding any further discussion. The lack of basic courtesy and willingness to address a simple concern prompted us to leave and try yet another location.
For our third attempt, we decided to go to the Quest Diagnostics location at 2711 Executive Park Dr, Weston, FL 33331. This time, service was quick, but still cold and impersonal. As she always does —based on years of experience— my wife politely informed the technician that her veins are difficult to locate. In an effort to assist, she suggested using a butterfly needle instead of a regular one to minimize unnecessary attempts and bruising. Rather than acknowledging the suggestion, the technician brushed it off with a condescending response; I'm paraphrasing: “No need to tell me; I’m an expert. I know what I’m doing.” Predictably, after an initial failed attempt, she ended up using the butterfly needle anyway, leaving my wife with unnecessary bruising.
At this point, it has become clear that Quest Diagnostics staff appear to be under pressure to meet quotas, often at the expense of basic courtesy, professionalism, and patient care. Employees come across as rushed, indifferent, and unwilling to provide even minimal customer service.
I would not recommend Quest Diagnostics to anyone. The only reason we used their services is because our insurance forces us to. If given the choice, we would take our business elsewhere.

Despite having my current address
Despite having my current address, they sent it to a 3 year old address and then onto collections. My doctor ordered several blood tests because of family history and Quest refuses to have Medicare or BC/BS pay for it. It has been a nightmare. You can't even talk to the same person. You can't even change your address with them. They are terrible.

your facility in Howell NJ SUCKS
your facility in Howell NJ is the worst! Adrianna who woks there expects a walk in to sit there for 8 hours while she takes appointments only and then when you complain she tells you to leave and never come back! Real nice - and believe me I will never go back and will advise everyone I know on all of my social media including my 2 YouTube channels not to go there EVER. Steve, you need to look into this because customer service is 9/10 of your success.

I tried to get an appointment via their web page and the automated system in their office neither one worked
I tried to get an appointment via their online system. I spent 20 minutes. It could not get the date, right. I went in and they said there were no walk-ins waiting. I tried to sign in with our machine and everything seemed to go OK after I put in my medical cards it quit, but didn’t say there was anything wrong that came out and signed me in themselves after waiting 45 minutes They said they didn’t have appointments available and I should’ve left after 30 minutes. This is the worst automated attendance system I have ever used.

Lousy software support for the myQuest site
Software support for the myQuest web site is unresponsive and uninformed. The site does not accept updates to patient info and the company doesn't seem to really care that their software is problematic.
