Kept getting monthly mails from them requesting payment that it is already paid fully, as they could easily check in my account in their website, if they wpuld do their job. The latter one as a "notice of deliquent account". No email where to send them a cease/desist complaint to stop harrasing me with these notifications. Just do your bloody job and check your customers account! How lazy they must be to not even do the minimum! I will never every use Quest again, and will discourage others to do so.

Hyannis, MA location. Main complaint: You literally cannot reach these people. If you call, there's a loop of automated message machine, which finishes what it has to say and hangs up on you. I called back and selected the option for doctors' offices, and it says this is our fax number and again hangs up. So I faxed them my question – never heard back. Quest online has no way to send a message. When you go in there, you check in on the computer screen - and if you try to ask the person sitting there at the desk any questions they look at you like your head's on backwards. I've also had issues with everyone in my family: we go in for our blood work and they miss some of the bloodwork orders. The doctors office calls and says you didn't have your blood work done, and we say yes we did, and come to find out they only did one of three bloodwork orders listed, so we have to go back. This has happened multiple times, so now I always make them check that they got them all. One time I had to go back because they didn't shake the vials for the anticoagulant and my blood coagulated. My husband and I were both skewered by the same tech and still had bruises 10 days later. That seemed to be a one-off; most of the techs do an excellent draw, and they do move people through quickly at this location. And note: this is not just a review from one visit - it's years of using this location.

Had my calcium tested from 2 different drs at the same time but got 2 different results!

All I needed to do was drop off the colon screening and they made me sign in and wait in the lobby. What bullshit!

They sent me a bill for $1350 for blood work that should have only cost $300. They refused to adjust the price, even though they admitted that they charge ridiculously high rates when billing insurance companies. I didn't have insurance at the time, but they would not adjust the bill. When hospitals price gouge, at least they will lower the rate to something reasonable when you let them know you do not have insurance. It should be illegal to charge a patient 400x what the fair market rate is after the fact, especially when it's medical.

In June I paid my bill, but continued to get bills until 4 days ago despite sending them a check number and confirmation number as proof of payment. I also had Bank of America fax a copy of the cancelled check. I filed a complaint with the BBB, and finally they corrected their mistake. Even though it is convenient to go to Quest, I will not be using this lab any more.

Told me they could do my test, drove 30 minutes as a college kid with a brain tumor, and they told me they couldn't do the test once I got there, even though it was ordered. Terrible technology, horrible HR. WOULD NEVER GO, GO TO LABCORE / YOUR PERSONAL DOCTOR. Horrible operation, don't care about anything and have such a lean operation with no recourse for requests.

OhioHealth has sold their lab testing unit to Quest Diagnostics labs. Based on my first experience with the changed system, what was a really smooth, simple experience for patients is now complicated, time-consuming, disorganized, and rather miserable. First you have to create an account on the QD website. Then, you schedule an "appointment" which has no relationship to when you'll actually be seen. And when you are finally seen, none of the personal info and insurance card scans you input will be visible to the tech so you get to do it all over again. Before, the provider would put an order in the system and you could go to any OhioHealth lab and it would pop right up. No more. My order wasn't in the system and even though I also had a printed order just in case, it took quite awhile for the tech to figure it out. The medical practice ordering the test warned me it might be bad, but they undersold exactly how bad. I finished my 10:30am appointment for a single tube at 11:45am. So yeah, one star.
