Updated: after the reply and after the announce of new features (some on the platform already) I changed the score. 5 stars only after the new feature will be introduced and tested. Old post (without the last sentence): I purchased the lifetime service... The old legacy part of the site had a lot more information and advice. For a while the two parts, 2.0 and legacy, proceeded side by side, then the old and most valuable part was slowly emptied. In part 2.0 there are many reports, but much more superficial than the old reports, the blog with the interaction between users has disappeared, the advice on how to fix some variants and the colors that indicate the genetic variants to keep an eye on have disappeared.

I want to reach out and personally apologize for any frustration you've experienced during our transition to SelfDecode 2.0. I definitely understand your concern about certain features being retired, and I'm happy to say that we have changes coming out within the next few months to reflect your feedback. As you've noticed, we've made a lot of changes to the site, and we've been retiring features and reports that are not up to our standard of accuracy anymore due to new research being released. The reason that we transitioned to SelfDecode 2.0 is that we now use advanced, cutting-edge technology called SNP imputation. This allows us to get 10x more data out of your DNA file. You can learn more here: https://selfdecode.helpscoutdocs.com/article/235-what-is-imputation. We have already started to release new versions of the Legacy features on 2.0. For example, the personalized genetics blog and gene and SNP packs are available on 2.0. We also recently released 83 million gene and SNP pages on 2.0, and we'll be adding more information to these pages soon. As you can probably imagine, updating this many pages with new information is a huge task. That's why we've kept the Legacy pages available for now. You can expect to see improvements to 2.0 within the next few months. We are sorry to hear that you feel we are transitioning to 2.0 in order to deceive our customers into purchasing supplements from us. We're passionate about providing our customers with the information that they need to take their health into their own hands, so we take your concern about our intentions with the custom supplement tool very seriously. Our custom supplement feature is a tool that we provide to make ordering and taking supplements easier--it is not in our business model to trick people into buying supplements. Ordering supplements from us is optional, and we only show the custom supplement feature on your dashboard. They're aren't advertized to you in your reports. Please know that we value your review and opinion. We remain committed to providing our customers with a great experience, including great customer support and the most accurate, actionable DNA reports on the market. I had been thinking about trying a service like this for some time, and became more curious about it when I saw a special offer in an e-mail from The Entrepreneur Store, and thought I'd give it a try. Have to say that I'm incredibly impressed with the wealth of information that is provided, including links to further research and information you can delve into as time permits. It seems like this company is going all out to be able to be a valuable resource to their customers over the course of a lifetime, with continually updated research, etc. The process was relatively simple, and is well worth the investment of time and money. I now realize that it would have been well worth the investment even without the special offer!

I ordered my SelfDecode from Amazon. I received in a very timely manner. I am truly excited to receive my full report. It's amazing to me that SelfDecode goes beyond what other companies offer. When doing my due diligence I was thoroughly impressed with everything that I will be receiving to lead a better, more informed healthier life.
