TherapyNotes is a complete package that consistently provides immediate phone support which I find essential so I can best support clients and therapy. With TN I am have been able easily organize intake paperwork, scheduling, treatment planning, progress notes, and billing with gentle reminders when something needs attention. With using TN for the past year I have never felt so confident when I go home at night that I have done ENOUGH!

I am very pleased with all the help I have gotten from Therapy Notes, specifically Bianca in setting up the processing of credit cards, debt cards etc. Bianca has been great throughout the whole process and very, very helpful.

I have been using TherapyNotes for a couple of month now and generally find it so simple. I decided to start using the insurance billing function slowly, since I have a contract for that with another company. I started by enrolling one insurance payor. With the company I am already using, the enrollment process has been so very painful. With the TherapyNotes, they answered my questions so clearly, talking a language I understood, and then followed up with an email that provided all the information given in the phone call and more!! As a private practioner, trying to do my own billing, this was invaluable!

Inteface is clean and intuitive for the most part which helps the learning curve. The biggest criticism is that the portal is cumbersome. You have to send patients an invitation to create an account, then they create the account, then you send them an invitation to complete intake paperwork, then they completed the paperwork and upload in the portal. That's too many steps. They should be able to create an account and upload the paperwork on their own. It doesn't need to be any more complicated than a Gmail account. This would especially be helpful for a solo practitioner like me. I want to spend more time doing therapy, not emailing back and forth about paperwork. I don't even use the portal feature because of this. The biggest plus is the instant insurance verification. That saves me a ton of time not having to call the insurance companies to verify benefits.
