Why on earth would a company etch their name and information about the glasses ON THE LENSES? My new ThinOptics lenses have the magnification etched at the top of the left lens and the company name at the top of the right. To say it's distracting is an understatement. Additionally, the edges of the frames are VERY sharp, and uncomfortable on the bridge of my nose. I bought these "on sale" (no wonder) from the Good Morning America website. I won't buy anything there again, and these glasses are going straight in the trash.

As with many of the comments in this site, I too was told of lifetime replacements. I've had to replace mine a few times because the bridge breaks after about six months. I bought them on their site and they have my email which they use to send me lots of emails. I too will be ordering from the competition going forward since Thinoptics does not keep their word and decide to change warranty. So many people bought these readers because I recommended them. Will not be doing that again.

Jake was very informative and helpful and for that reason I gave a 4 but the policy change is a slap in the face so I give the Company a 1. When I purchased thin optics originally I was told replacements for life and we are not grandfathered. Disappointing- I don’t mind paying more but there should be some kind of discount. I love your glasses but the nose pieces always break - that is the problem. I am not losing them or breaking them- hence the problem. I love your product but it needs fixing. All in all I still give you 4.

ThinOptics are the best. Their products are excellent and their customer service is beyond brilliant. I live in Australia and ordered the incorrect iPhone case for my phone. I contacted ThinOptics and explained the situation. They then sent me the correct case FREE OF CHARGE! Unbelievable service. Highly recommend this company. Brad

ThinOptics lost me as a customer when they broke their promise of a lifetime warranty. I probably used the warranty 6+ times as their glasses break a LOT. So far my Nooz glasses are great - much more comfortable on my nose and the construction is better quality. Do your research and read all the negative reviews about ThinOptics. I will never buy from them again but will continue to give them negative feedback because I bought a pair of glasses that had a "lifetime warranty". Their definition of lifetime and mine are significantly different. I'm sure they will reply: Hello, Paul. Thank you for writing to us and for sharing your experience. I really like the convenience of the Thinoptics readers and have used them often for 4 years. I had to replace them every year due to the cheap nose grips breaking off, but since the lifetime warranty gave free replacements and they only charged $5 for shipping, I didn't mind. I just went to get another replacement (broken nose grip!) and see they have changed to a 6 month warranty. I will search elsewhere knowing I will need to replace these at my own cost every year or so. Update: 2/12/2021: I bumped up my review by 1 star due to the response I received from ThinOptics (Miguel). After my post, he immediately contacted me and sent out a new reader at no charge. I did not request it and certainly did not expect it, but it was much appreciated. I do think the customer service is very good and hope they increase the warranty period before they lose too many future customers.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Miguel in regard to an issue I had with my thin optics. Miguel was patient and informed in regard to communicating with me for a resolution. He followed up with me until we were able to reach a resolution that was satisfactory. I wish every company had this level of customer service. His diligence in communicating with me to help me resolve the issue I reported was something you dont see in many companies. Kudos to Thin Optics for training their employees to be respectful and helpful when serving the needs of their customers. Thank you Miguel again for your professionalism,
