Good design and chemical smell wears off after a while

UPDATE: I was heartened by the fact that WellBefore offered to send me some new masks free of charge. In fact, those do not smell quite as bad, and, as they suggested, taking a mask out of its individual package and letting it air out does help a lot. I will still need to do that each time I think I might need to wear a mask in a public situation, so that's not ideal. Perhaps, as my husband suggested, I should take them all out of their packages and let them air out and then store them in a large bag. I added a star because I was impressed with the company's excellent customer service and I still like the fit of the masks much better than others I have. Original 2-star review: I like the design of these for comfort and the different colored options. I thought having them individually wrapped was a good idea. But, when I decided to try one on, I quickly moved it away from my face because it smelled so horribly of chemicals. I don't know what they use but my body did not like it. I am airing that one out to see if it helps get rid of the smell. For now, I guess I will stick to the regular old white ones from a different company that I have. Too bad.
