Great app to be held accountable on your phone time. It’s easy to use and you are able to add or delete apps that you really need.

I’m learning to appreciate this app. It’s cutting down on wasteful screen time. When I really need to work however, the “give up” feature allows me to get to it.

This app is such a fun idea! I was drawn in by an ad with the creator whom wanted to come closer to God, but was drowning in his phone losing not only time, but meaning. The app is built with the same effects in mind, so that it’ll feel addictive – the difference is that this one really is good for you! I’m blind, so I use my phone in a bit different way as it is, and my scrolling is a lot because it takes time to do things. Nevertheless, I do open instagram way too many times a day only from boredom and thus loses valuable time. So I wanted to test it out, and boy am I glad I did! The first thing you do is answering a few questions, and the first thing the app does, is telling you how much time of your life you’ll spend on your phone based on your screen time now. That was a genuine shock and wake up call! You can set periods where you want the app to block all apps, and unlike the time saving and focus feature on the iPhone itself, this one is not something you ignore! If you try opening the app, it tells you to stay out and wait until it was supposed to open up. And you actually stop. You can choose apps you want to have available during these blocked periods, like I have Spotify, camera, audio description and accessibility apps, my bank, id and Hallow (prayer and reflection app) open and also excluded from screen time. This is such a great feature because not everything you use your phone for is bad, and you can focus on good things instead. You can set a limit of the amount of times you can open a certain app a day, and for how many minutes each time etc. It tells you that it’ll close the app 30 seconds before. You collect streaks and you get so hooked on it you compete with yourself – using even less time on your phone! You will not regret it! Try it!
