I worked with Podium to do an evaluation of their system and was very clear up front that I wanted to do a month review and would be talking with them at JCK with a decision. In turn, prior to the decision date they charged me over 600.00 and it has been 2 months with multiple follow ups to get my refund. Very unimpressed with them in terms to of our agreement going into the evaluation and how long it is taking for them to issue our refund. I am still waiting for my refund - terrible customer service. Quick to want my business but will never get it now that I see how they deal with problems. I do not recommend them,

EDIT: My product rep really went the extra mile to respond to my concerns, took accountability where it was due, and now we're on stable footing. I had a lot of frustrations, but am willing to hear people out when they respond. ORIGINAL: Podium is a glitchy, unreliable service that makes big promises and fails spectacularly. Our launch was marred by multiple bugs, exacerbated by a lazy support team. When I tried providing feedback, I was given a condescending response by Merrilynne Harrington, the "product design lead" that stated that "they could have done a better job educating customers," i.e. that any issues I ran into was a result of my own ignorance.

An absolutely hopeless and useless programme - Beware! We made the mistake of signing up for 12 months based on what the salesperson at Podium said they could do for our business. What they did not tell us is that the program is full of bugs and errors and heavy restrictions on its use such as a limited number of photos you can send at a time, continuous red box errors, messages not sent, invoices raised not sent, no spell check, extreme difficulty in checking payments and invoices, we could go on and on. We have sent dozens of emails about errors and omissions only to be told that they yes, they have been able to find the error and are working on it. To this day, the program is a complete waste of time and causes us nothing but grief and lost customers! We have now stopped using Podium completely as after 8 months of heartache with this company, we can tolerate it no longer. Podium will not accept a cancellation and will not even return calls relating to cancellation, they will not even confirm that we WANT to cancel. Sign up with Podium at your risk and be very aware, it is going to cost you dearly in headaches and lost business.

I recently had an experience with a salesperson from Podium that left a lasting impression, albeit not a positive one. From the moment he entered my office, it was clear that this individual was highly intense and aggressive in their approach. Their sales tactics bordered on being rude and pushy. Instead of listening to my needs and preferences, they insisted on aggressively pushing products that were clearly not suitable or of interest to me. Their tone was argumentative and confrontational, which made me feel uncomfortable and pressured throughout the interaction. Furthermore, the salesperson seemed more focused on winning the argument than genuinely helping me find the right product. They dismissed my concerns with curt responses, which only added to the unpleasant experience. Overall, while I understand that sales can be competitive, the level of intensity and rudeness displayed by this salesperson was unnecessary and off-putting. A more customer-centric approach, focusing on understanding and addressing customer needs respectfully, would greatly enhance the in office experience with a Podium sales person. I would caution others to be prepared for a confrontational encounter when dealing with this particular salesperson. Hopefully, the company can address these issues to ensure a more positive and customer-friendly atmosphere in the future.

Multiple failed promises from the beginning, pretty ironic for service like this. Calls with them seemed like they were not trained well in customer service. Glad I started looking further on their reviews. Lucky I never signed up to anything - dodged a bullet there!

Sent multiple cancellation e-mails. Said to listen to their sales pitch etc. Nope, still want to cancel. Now claiming I need to give 30 days before their arbitrary credit card charge date - not the "term date" as per the contract. Have lodged case with credit card.

This company is a total scam. They cancel my service every second week, yet continue to charge me $1400 every month without fail. They ignore my calls, don’t respond to my emails, and have the worst customer service imaginable. I’ve had to sue them in court just to try to get my money back. Save yourself the headache and avoid Podium like the plague! They're nothing but thieves.

Relentless spammer. I can't imagine anyone being impressed or wanting to do this to their customers. There's no way I'd want this.
