I have an adult son who is somewhat delayed in handling his own affairs because of a lengthy medical history, and I am his caregiver. I made him an appointment for lab work at 2:40 today in Tomball at the Medical Complex Dr location. The tech who called us back was RUDE from the onset because myself and my ten year old had followed my son to the draw room. Schools out and 10 year old children aren’t capable of, nor of legal age to be left unattended. She looks my ten year old up and down very nastily then proceeds to say that the room is small. Just like that, the room is small. So I spoke up and explained that the reason for our accompanying him is to present her with the insurance information that is often required. She hastily pulls up insurance information on the computer that is not correct in the order it should be. She questioned my understanding of what order or how his insurance should be billed. I had to explain myself TWICE before she understood what I was talking about. She then proceeded to ask for the correct card in order that it should’ve been in the computer. After the correct information was in the computer, I left the draw room. I’ve never had such a negative experience with a tech at this facility before. I never wantto have an encounter with her or someone like her again. Sensitivity training should always be taught and enforced. Not everyone, nor everything is as it seem or should be.

Customer service number is a 20 minute wait to talk with someone who has no patience or time to do their job,if you ask to talk with another person…you’ll be put on hold for another 20+ minutes and still get no where.luckily my lab site in midwest city Oklahoma is a good location with good techs who get you in and out quickly and are not as rude as the customer support line.you guys suck just like the rest of the medical field….quit your job if it’s that bad.thanks for nothing.

Lots of negative reviews so important to note the positive experience I had today at the Yorktown Rd, Fayetteville location. Easy check in and seen exactly on time. Desiree is the best sticker I have ever had, and I have had some unpleasant botched attempts before! No pain and in and out in 10 minutes, could not have been better

I am not impressed with Quest Diagnostics since they took over from Lab Care. My doctor has a standing lab order for me to get a basic bloodwork done, every 3 months. In March of this year, he faxed a new standing lab order to them. I went in and had that one done. Yesterday, I went back to Quest Diagnostics, and they had no record of a standing lab order from my doctor. The technician said QD (Quest Diagnostics) only keeps standing orders 6 mos! Well, it had only been since March so the standing lab order should have still been in their system! Another source of irritation is the fact that you cannot call them to make sure they have a current lab order on file. You have to personally drive to their office! I went there yesterday and today and they still cannot find it. This was after I called my doctor’s office and asked them to fax it to QD. I have decided I will not waste a 3rd trip, driving to Quest Diagnostics. I will be seeing my doctor at the end of this month. At that time, I will get a handwritten lab order and keep it on me each time I go to QD.

Took 3 people to draw my blood. Both arms are severely bruised and sore. The techs seemed more interested in discussing their astrological signs and making appointments to have their nails done than focusing on drawing my blood correctly.
