Clean, professional, and courteous
I went to the Quest Lab located in Malta. It was a wonderful experience. The location was clean and Tracy, my phlebotomist, was both courteous and professional. Thank you.

I had an appointment at quest but the facility was closed due to an hvac issue. So I drove to another one 11 minutes away and got there a few minutes before it closed and was told it was closed. Now I'm at a 3rd facility. I've been waiting half an hour. There are 3 other people here. Noone has come or gone since I arrived and there are no staff members anywhere. I do hear laughing behind the window so someone must be here. I'm assuming when they close in 3 minutes I will once again be turned away. Never again will I use quest!!

The worst customer service for patient laboratory results. Do yourself a favor by using another company

I made an appointment with Quest labs for my annual thyroid labs. it was easy to make the appointment online. It was super easy to check in when I arrived at their location. And I sat maybe four minutes before I was called back to a room where Cynthia did an excellent job taking my blood I didn’t feel a thing. Quest is a great place to have your labs taken and very good customer service.

The system of being able to talk to a person is nonexistent! To do anything with them you must have an appointment! Walk in for anything you don't get serviced. Just beware!

Took my 8 week old infant for blood test at quest. Tech stuck both heels to collect lab in 2 tubes. First stick in heel was not done well well enough. Tech then stuck her other heel. When going to doctor no lab results known. Pediatric office did not have the results because Quest never performed the lab w/ my grandchild’s specimen. Reason is blood was put in wrong tube. Quest never called me to make me aware. It’s been 4 days now. I was made aware by pediatric office who researched to locate result & no test results known by Quest. Quest told them they will call me. Terrible, incompetent to not know protocol to follow for blood test on infant. Quest has not called me, been 4 days since test incorrectly performed. This is wrong.

My appointment was on 2/22/24 at 8:40 a.m. at the Newport Beach location. I was taken back behind a locked door at 9:00 a.m. There were no personnel at the front desk to speak to for any questions I had while waiting. I was concerned that my name was first on a board, and then taken off the board. I thought perhaps my name was skipped over my mistake. There was another woman in the waiting room who also thought they passed over her name as well. When my name was called at 9:00 a.m. I told the lady drawing my blood that I suffered anxiety and that I was nervous in general about waiting the extra time and having my blood drawn. She seemed completely indifferent to what I was saying; I needed to lay down. She told me that they didn't have enough people working there, and also told me that they had a problem with a test with another patient. I did not understand how that would affect my appointment time. She seemed annoyed that I was not happy, even though I was very calm when explaining how I felt. She was very rough with me to say the least, and used unnecessary force jabbing the needle into my vein. I have NEVER in my life experienced this treatment at any other lab, and it hurt to the point where I yelled out loud that I was hurt. I know others heard me. I was close to tears waiting for my horrible experience to be over. She never asked how I felt, how my arm felt, or if I was OK to stand after laying down because I can get lightheaded. She walked away and told me to leave when I wanted to. I'm 70 years old, in excellent health, and have never felt the need in the past to write about how miserable my blood draw was. I have taken a picture of my arm, as evidence, which is quite bruised as a direct result of her roughness, and my entire arm is still hurting hours later. I will let corporate know what happened to me hopefully to prevent others from being hurt. I cannot help but think her treatment of me was intentional because maybe she didn't like me or my comments. A better explanation, I hope, is that she is extremely unqualified at her job and should not be anywhere near a blood lab touching humans. Having zero compassion for a patient should be reason enough for this person to be fired let along everything else that was done to me.
