We went to Castro Valley 7/11/2023 My son scheduled appointment was 12:50 noon , was helped on the dot by a fine, friendly phlebotomist named JOHNSON. Believe me when I tell you he was an expert poking needles in my son veins was quick easy and painless. We give him 5/stars, 5 Thumbs up for giving my son first experienced with getting his blood drawn ending with a happy satisfaction . Thanks JOHNSON.. We appreciate your excellent service . Thanks DQ for getting a competent good phlebotomist.

Had a urine specimen to drop off. Two employees were standing near the door, I held up the urine specimen so they could see what I needed. The employee came out, told me I had to check in so she knew I was there. What! She knew I was there, she was talking to me. So, I played your game and started to check in. About that time another employee came out to collect a different customer’s specimen. So I asked if she could take mine as well. Once again I was told I had to check in. She finally took my specimen, reluctantly. Not only is customer service a lost art, but so is common sense. Businesses cut corners; by reducing staff, eliminate educating staff and requiring goals and hold staff accountable. I only use your lab when I have no other choice. Venice, Florida, Quest located in Walmart.

First off all they shouldn't have walk-in option if they do the same way again. Even though a guy had an appointment at later time at 10:30 AM and if he moved in early at 10:00AM they do blood test for him and ignore standby people. Next to me there was a old(deaf guy) who doesn't have internet access and mentioned that he cannot make a call due to his deafness and he walked in.They made him sit for more than 45 minutes .They are so adamant and ignorant of customers. Also one attendent is roaming without taking blood test and he wore apron after 1 hour and she started doing her job.

Had an 8 am appointment but the automated receptionist showed me getting in at 10 am I already fasted over 12 hours. Very disappointed with Quest. Too automated. No staff other than phlebotomists I guess. It’s all about profit, not patients!

Will not help correct medical claim! My Dr accidentally put the wrong name on the lab order. It was filed with my insurance and was paid but quest refused to allow me to provide the correct information to receive in network benefits. Tried for 6 months going as far up as they would allow. Saying they would do something then not do it. Please stay far away from this place. Horrible customer service! Won’t correct it because they have to write off the difference instead of me paying. SMH!!

I made an appointment to be sure of having my blood drawn. I had a confirmation code, and not only was it not found (TWO of them), the receptionist clearly didn't care. Let's be honest; No one working at Quest Diagnostics, from technical support to on the ground floor, is paid enough to care. Quest Diagnostics is not incentivized to care, because there are likely no other options. I'd rather go without bloodwork than deal with them again. Ask your doctor if they can do the lab work at the office.

I could not possibly find a company more difficult to pay. The levels of detail and passwords and confirmations needed to give this company $12 online were astounding. And after all of that, there was a $3.99 processing fee added to my bill! When I looked for a customer service resource, again I was given a run-around. I couldn't even reach out to tell them of my displeasure. This is not a company to be trusted. I wish there was a lower rating than one star to assign to them.

This place was absolutely terrible. I was a walk in (which I fully understood that there was going to a long wait time) and patiently waited my turn when I got called in by Carmen who was so incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional. Telling me that there was no script sent over and while I ask if she can call the facility to get the script faxed over because I was having a hard time reaching them, rudely said that they’re going to do the same thing to me. I understand that but she had no desire to help me then I had to run to my car to see if I had the physical copy and when I came back she said that I am wasting her time and I was so lazy that I couldn’t get the hard copy and of course I went back at her as I am a healthcare professional I could NEVER in my right mind EVER speak to a patient like that. I said she was being unprofessional, unhelpful and rude and she snapped back saying that I was and that it was my fault that I chose to be a walk in rather than having a appointment which I didn’t even mind waiting versus people that had appointments who were freaking out the whole time time I was waiting. I understand they were short staff but to call a patient lazy, wasting her time and unprofessional is actually disturbing. What if I was a elderly or disabled patient who had the same issues ? It’s absolutely appalling and I will never go back to quest and will tell all my patients to never come to this unprofessional place. So disgusting.
