I opened a solo private practice in 2016 and am so glad I chose Therapy Notes (TN). I talked with colleagues who recommended other sites they use - but those sights didn't meet all of my needs/desires or were too cumbersome. So, even though I didn't personally know anyone using Therapy Notes, I decided to try it and during the trial period, I was very pleased. It has been a learning curve for me as my practice grows in size and needs, but totally worth it and the CUSTOMER SERVICE is absolutely one of the BEST parts of using TN. I have never been dis-satisfied with how I was treated. I may have not liked the answer :) - but the staff are great. The answers I don't like are when there are features I'd like that they don't have YET, so I have to do work arounds that take time. I would like the ability to BOLD, UNDERLINE and BULLET the text in my notes, better secondary insurance processing, and tele-therapy (currently using DOXY.me) I know they are working on these things, and with the things they aren't, they make a note and send it up the chain of command and tell me how to do the same, so I feel heard and valued. It is a great product and I love that it keeps improving. It is set up extremely well. Easy to set up a new client, easy to schedule (free reminders two days before appointments are sent to clients), good templates for intakes, assessments, progress notes, great to do reminder lists, great EDI processing and more. I don't use the patient portal too much, but will start that later this year. I wouldn't use anything else - please give them a try - you'll be glad you did.

TherapyNotes has been very helpful and knowledgable about all of my billing questions. The customer service representatives are very willing to stay on the phone with me and patiently help me, afterwards emailing me very detailed instructions about topics we had discussed so that I can refer to them in the future. I highly appreciate the professionalism of the TherapyNotes team and find them to be a vital aspect of my ability to successfully manage my private practice.
