First of all, I love Thinoptics reading glasses. My husband and I probably have 10 pair between us in many colors and in both the round and the rectangular shapes. I've been buying Thinoptics since they started making reading glasses. They are so lightweight, you don't know you're wearing them. They are great quality lenses. (I like them better than the pair I had custom made at my optometrist.). The case they fit into is so thin, it takes no extra room in my purse. Now, for why I'm writing today. We recently bought the sunglasses, which also come in a slim case. I love the way they fit and how they look on my face. My husband loved his, too, even to the point that he always put them back in their case. Then he lost them two weeks ago. I ordered him a new pair this morning. 20 minutes after I placed the order, he called out that he found the sunglasses. I was able to contact customer care by chat and they cancelled the order for a new pair. My ThinOptic sunglasses don't replace my prescription pair because I do have a distance prescription. However, when I just need a pair for hanging around outside, they are great and are better looking than my other sunglasses.

Thin reading glasses are very practical but unfortunately thinoptics are very poor quality-they scratch and break in two at the nose bridge. I have purchased about a dozen of the foldable glasses over the last few years plus the stick on case for back of my iPhone. All the glasses fell apart very quickly and the last pair broke as soon as I took them out of the package. As well the stick on case cracked. When I last spoke to Thinoptics about my complaints they thanked me for my feedback and said they would improve the quality of their product. Unfortunately the quality has not changed at all. I think Miguel at customer service at Thinoptics should contact me and replace the glasses plus the case immediately, hopefully with an improved version

UPDATE - Still Waiting For Return and Refund. Haven't heard anything from THINOPTICS. Their Customer Service is very very THIN. *************************************************************** RETURNING the order is BIG Problem with ThinOptics. They have 30 days return policy so i started return process since the optics was too small for my face. I called, chatted and sent couple of email. After 15 days i am still waiting for the return label in my mail. Every time i create ticket they close as solve but i have not received label to return the item and get refunded. Worst Customer Service Here.

Great product very slow customer support I love the concept and build quality so far, however, the sunglasses I got was slightly too small for my head so I requested a replacement or return so I can get a larger pair. I feel like there's only one person managing customer assistance since I received a reply two weeks after my question and now im waiting again probably for another two weeks.

Great Company, we have had a few pair over the years. My husband broke his most recently both pair that he had for about a year and I purchased through amazon. I still have receipt and they did not hesitate to order me a replacement pair. Miguel helped me out through the online chat and took care of everything. Kristine

Het is in principe een geweldige leesbril MAAR: Ik heb de "pasjes" uitvoering gekocht en elke keer dat je hem daar in of uit haalt komt er een krasje op de lens. Net precies onder het kijkgedeelte, dus je kunt hem wel blijven gebruiken maar het lijkt mij niet de bedoeling en het staat behoorlijk slordig! Ik heb dan weliswaar een nieuw brilletje gekregen, maar die gaat ECHT NIET in dat zelfde hoesje!

Love my ThinOptics readers - so convenient! I was so disappointed when I broke a pair after about 6 months, but Ian saved the day and sent out a new pair right away!
